With the purchase of a community mask (purchase price 15€ plus shipping costs, see terms and conditions) you support a good cause: with the profit of 8€ per sold community mask, we, Bravado Merchandise - a Division of Universal Music GmbH, and the participating artists support various music-related Corona emergency relief funds in Germany until 31.07.2020. More info at Bravado.Betterplace.org

The offered community mask is a mask that is sewn from commercially available materials and can be worn in everyday life. As a rule, it does not meet the requirements that have to be met for the type of mouth-nose protection, so-called surgical masks according to the German Medical Devices Act (MPG), or for filtering half masks as personal protective equipment (PPE), as it has not undergone the corresponding legal verification procedures required for such an effect. Community masks do not protect the wearer from infection, but can help to reduce droplet ejection. They can also increase awareness of the need to observe the rules of distance and careful handling. However, these masks are neither medical devices nor are they subject to Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment.

Please note: the community masks are for personal use only. The use of a face mask made of fabric does not protect yourself from infection with COVID-19 and is not intended as a substitute for recommended measures to prevent the spread of the virus, such as keeping your distance, washing your hands and refraining from touching your face. Please follow current advice from health authorities - such as the World Health Organization (or WHO, see www.who.int), the Federal Government, as well as local authorities and your health care staff - on the use of community masks.*

Not suitable for children under 2 years of age, persons with breathing difficulties or unconsciousness or a disability that makes it impossible to remove the mask without assistance.
